"The 2013 Montrachet Grand Cru comes from Jacques Prieur's two parcels and was harvested on October 3, the same day as the Chevalier-Montrachet. Ten barrels were produced, nine of them new. The nose is fuller than the Chevalier, with roundness and generosity. The palate is crisp and balanced, displaying more depth than the Chevalier and with a long, spicy finish." Édouard Labruyère's enthusiasm and determination to position this estate as one of the world's great vintages is clear to see.
