"In 2009, the Morey Saint-Denis En la Rue de Vergy is a beautifully precise, linear wine. The fruit is precise and long on the mid-palate, while the finish presents the most ethereal part of the wine. A little firm, but very pretty. Expected maturity: 2014-2024." Domaine noté Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the domain :
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (2014 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the domain :
"Bruno Clair makes classic Burgundies that are young, lively and razor-sharp; they are often only understood after a few years' cellaring. They are immediately recognizable by their purity and long finish. The domaine has highlighted the terroirs of Marsannay as well as a fine series of Gevrey-Chambertins, including the magnificent Clos Saint-Jacques and the domaine's masterpiece: the elegant and refined Chambertin Clos de Bèze. The lesser-known whites are just as remarkable. The estate's consistency is commendable.

A violet color, a very nice smell of red fruit. On the other hand, an acid taste, no depth, in short a flat wine. The value for money is not there.

domaine Bruno Clair has been producing great burgundy wines for a very long time. This village, an honest wine in its category, is a decent success for the domaine. There are much better wines, but they are much more expensive...
