"The level of the pouilly-fuissé is above: the wines are all rich with better ageing management." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2012 - RVF). A lovely white that perfectly illustrates the appellation: rich and dense, with a most seductive aromatic palette...

Expert opinion

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2016 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

Christophe Cordier is always on the move, his businesses always expanding, both the family estate and the trading business. In both cases, he has invested in technical facilities of a rare level in the region, at the cutting edge of oenological progress. The approach to each parcel of land is precise and the ageing techniques are diversified, but the sometimes excessive woodiness still masks the expression of certain cuvées.

Estate rated (2015 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

Founded in 1945, Domaine Cordier was taken over by Roger Cordier in 1971. The arrival of his son Christophe just over five years ago has not changed the exemplary style of the wines. The estate has remained at the top for many years.

An excellent Pouilly, very fresh, supple and delicate. Very good value for money. Hoping to see it again on 1j1v.
