Hachette
"A great cuvée that echoes the Favorite obtained in the 2016 vintage. A Pouilly-Fuissé unanimously appreciated for its powerful bouquet of white fruits (peach and pear), spices and citrus, as well as for its equally intense and complex palate, remarkable for its generosity, volume, balance, depth and length. A wine with a very assertive character, with impressive relief, which celebrates the first harvest at the château, nearly 5 centuries ago!" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022)

About the domain :
Perched on Mount Pouilly, just outside the hamlet, this château has stood proudly since 1551 amidst its 7 ha of vines. Heading the estate since 1981, Mme Canal du Comet aims to restore the prestige of an estate that played a leading role in the Universal Exhibitions between 1862 and 1912. Traditions are respected here, from vine to bottle (12-month vinification, blending before bottling, long aging in bottles).

Attractive golden color. Complex nose, very Chardonnay. Smooth and suave on the palate, with good length.
