En Pommards is a rich Saint-Véran, with notes of hazelnut, apricot, honey, gingerbread and fresh butter. A powerful white with a round mouthfeel and a very mellow woodiness that reaffirms flavors of pear, honey, dried fruit and gingerbread. A very fine bottle indeed!

About the domain :
Dom. de la Croix Senaillet was founded in 1969 by Maurice Martin, who gradually abandoned mixed farming in favor of vines. In 1990, his son Richard took over the family estate, before being joined by his brother Stéphane in 1992. The property, initially 6.5 ha, has grown to 25 ha today, spread over 52 parcels that have been certified organic since 2010. Building on their experience, in 2015 the brothers acquired Dom. de Mont Épin in Clessé (13 ha).
