Vézelay
Appellation de Bourgogne recognized in 2017 by the INAO, Vézelay produces exclusively Chardonnay-based dry white wines. The origins of Vézelay dates back to the end of the 1st century and covered 500 hectares in the 18th century. But the phylloxera epidemic almost wiped out the vineyard completely, and it was thanks to the determination of a dozen or so winegrowers that Vézelay was able to revive and shine once again in the 1970s.


Today, the Vézelay appellation covers 70 hectares of vines, located on marl and limestone soils, at 190-330m altitude and facing south/southeast. A further 180 hectares will enable this vineyard to be developed over the next few years.


Vézelay wines generally have floral, white fruit or citrus aromas. With a supple, fruity attack, these wines offer great tension on the palate, with lemony, mineral notes.

"This delicate cuvée is sure to please.

This fine white from northern Burgundy's limestone terroirs lives up to its name! Elegant and delicate on the nose, this cuvée exudes fine vanilla notes. It unfurls on the palate, both chiselled and suave, with lemony, mineral notes reminiscent of Chablis terroirs.

"A lovely vintage to share!"
