Monterey County
Located south of San Francisco, Monterey County is the largest appellation on the Central Coast. It stretches 145 km from north to south and is planted mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Despite Monterey County's size and topography, the terroir is broadly homogeneous: sandy clay and gravel soils in the valley, while the mountains have finer soils of decomposed granite, clay-limestone and shale.

"A 100% Chardonnay with vanilla and toasted flavors that accompany a delicious, gourmet fruit!

"This is a light, lively, easy-drinking Chardonnay, with notes of lemon, lime, chamomile, green apple, wet stone, cheese rind, just-ripe white peach and lime leaf. A delicate, pleasant effervescence on the palate further enhances the freshness of this white." (Wine Enthusiast 2023) - screw cap

This Pinot Noir from the 2019 vintage delivers a red wine full of fruit and gourmandise. Its intense bouquet of fruit scents (strawberry, raspberry) and hints of vanilla is very pleasant. The palate opens with lovely volume and silky, medium-bodied tannins. Floral notes follow. Finally, the spicy finish (clove, toasted aromas) recalls its 9-month aging in oak barrels. Ready to enjoy! (2013 vintage notes)

Whereas the 2013 showed very exotic perfumes, the 2014 Malvasia is more finely crafted: on the nose, there are subtle floral aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle, but also lychee and nectarine. The grape's natural acidity produces an intense wine, which, coupled with a hint of Muscat, achieves perfect balance on the palate! A wonderful discovery!
