"Intense garnet in color, it offers a deep nose of baked blackberries, Black Forest cake, Christmas pudding and Chinese five spice with hints of rose hip tea, cedar and mincemeat pie. Full-bodied, super-rich and wonderfully concentrated on the palate, offering a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins, long, spicy finish." (Wine Advocate 2019 - Lisa Perrotti-Brown)

long finish

"It has a deep garnet-purple color and a rather toasty nose to start with, giving way to a lovely perfume of roses and lilac with a core of blackcurrant, redcurrant jelly and blackberry tart as well as a touch reminiscent of a cedar trunk. Full, velvety and seductive, it delivers layers of fragrant red and black fruits with a very long finish." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Lisa Perrotti-Brown)

"Deep garnet-purple in color, it boldly leaps from the glass with a presence of crème de cassis notes, blueberry tart and baking spice scents with a touch of chocolate box and potpourri. Full, rich and opulent, it has a chewy texture and tons of spicy fruit on the tip of the tongue, a fruity finish." (Wine Advocate 2018 - Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
