Vérité - Le Désir 2013

99/100 Robert Parker

" Le Désir 2013 is the sweetest of the three wines in 2013, and the blend of 61% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec stands out with more than half the cuvée coming from Alexander Valley hillsides, 37% from Chalk Hill and the rest from Bennett Valley and Knights Valley. Opaque purple, like its brothers, this wine reveals incredible notes of flowers, blueberries and coffee, exotic spices, a velvety, supple, structured texture and an incredible finish of incense and licorice. This is a magnificent wine, young, with good aging potential of 40-50 years. Justifiably, Pierre Seillan is proud of what he's achieved, and the first vintage of Vérité was only 1998, but they go from strength to strength." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker) Delivery in wooden case for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine.

Vérité - La Muse 2013

100/100 Robert Parker

"The 2013 Muse, like all 2013s, comes one-third from Alexander Valley, 40% from Chalk Hill, and the rest from Knights Valley and Bennett Valley - all high-slope vineyards. A blend of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 3% Malbec with 14.3% alcohol, the wine is strikingly similar to a superb vintage of Pétrus, with notes of blackberry, black cherry, licorice, truffle and unctuous, thick, juicy fruit, all in this full-bodied masterpiece. Tannins are always present. The wine is pure and remarkable, with a savory presence. The finish lasts well over a minute. " (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker) Wooden case delivery on orders of 6 bottles of this wine.

Vérité - La Joie 2013

100/100 Robert Parker

"La Joie 2013, 46% Knights Valley, 32% Chalk Hill and 22% Alexander Valley, is a blend of 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Revealing lots of graphite, cedar wood, charcoal, crème de cassis and hummus, it could well keep for 50+ years. It resembles a Pauillac Cru Classé and displays sublime richness and complexity." (Wine Advocate 2015 - Robert Parker) Wooden case delivery on orders of 6 bottles of this wine.
