On the Reims mountain, in the village of Chigny-Les-Roses, Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son Alexandre produce the prestige cuvées of Cattier.
Armand de Brignac. Their dream was to create a champagne of exceptional quality, representing the very best of the region where their family has been cultivating vines for over 250 years. The Cattier family owns 33 hectares of HVE-certified vines, spread over some of Champagne's most renowned crus, including the villages of Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes.
The distinctive feature of Champagne Armand de Brignac is the blending of a trio of vintages. Each blend brings together the unique characters of three distinct harvests, while retaining a powerful lineage from blend to blend.
In 2000, Armand de Brignac created his most expensive and iconic champagne in a gold-plated bottle. Launched six years later, it can be identified by its ace of spades. It is also the only Champagne House to offer its cuvées in 30-liter bottles, an exceptional large format.
