Champagne Larmandier-Bernier
The Larmandier-Bernier Champagne House produces Champagnes that are almost wild, in direct relationship with the terroir.

The Champagnes Larmandier-Bernier vineyard covers 15 hectares. It is located on the terroirs of the Côte des Blancs: Vertus classified Premier Cru and Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, Avize, all classified Grands Crus. Pierre Larmandier and his partner have opted for a committed approach to viticulture, opting instead for the far more rewarding option of intelligent vine cultivation. In search of wines that express their terroir, without artifice... The vines of Champagnes Larmandier-Bernier are cultivated with respect for the terroir, using biodynamic methods: ploughing to encourage deep rooting and preserve the life of the soil, and naturally measured yields.

"Powerful and rich, this gastronomic Champagne is an emblematic cuvée".

"Disgorged in March 2023, the new Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Vieille Vigne du Levant 2014 unfolds in the glass with aromas of crunchy stone fruit, freshly baked bread, white flowers, buttery pastry and light honey. Full-bodied, plush and chiseled, with a sweet core of fruit, tart acids and a penetrating, electric finish, this is a terrific success." (Wine Advocate 2023).

"A rare and original cuvée for this beautiful rosé with character".

"The village of Vertus is unique in the Côte des Blancs in that it is home to a historic pinot noir plantation. Here, it is blended with a little pinot gris by Pierre and Sophie Larmandier, two stalwarts of the Côte des Blancs, to give a striking rosé de saignée (obtained by macerating the pinot noir skins in the juice at the moment of pressing), with cherry and red fruit aromas. Absolutely bursting with strawberry and floral nuances, it nonetheless manages to retain a linear, concentrated energy and supple texture quite unusual for the style. A Côte des Blancs original. (Decanter 2024).

"Superb freshness and minerality, this champagne from the Côte des Blancs will whet your appetite".

"NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Longitude 1er Cru is a powerful, full-bodied wine. Longitude builds beautifully in the glass, creamy and textured, with plenty of resonance. Pear, white pepper, dried flowers, mint and chalk are all present in this champagne that combines power and tension. This is class." (Vinous).

"Champagne pleasure for this superbly balanced cuvée, between freshness and fruitiness".

"The scent is so fresh! Peach, grapefruit and citrus from the hand of Buddha. Intensely, fragrantly citric. Pure, singing like a soprano. Tiny bubbles dance the white pepper ardor to the slightly smoky finish. It really does seem to float" (Jancis Robinson 2024).

"What class! We're delighted by these ripe, mineral nuances. The palate is racy, with superb length and tension. This is a beautiful bottle that will keep its incredible brilliance." (Le Guide RVF 2024). Cuvée Terre de Vertus 2016 pays tribute to the Premier Cru terroir of Vertus. This Blanc de Blancs expresses this terroir with great purity. A must-have!

This cuvée has been produced since 2009, from two parcels of old vines on the estate, exclusively from the Avize terroir. It delivers a racy wine, distinguished by its chalky, delicate style and refined white fruit aromas. A great wine to accompany a great dish, such as roast lobster!
