94/100 Coup de Cœur
RVF
"THE great vintage of the estate
"Fresh leather and precious wood on the nose. Great freshness of fruit, seductive substance, slender frame, patinated tannins, here is an ambitious and complex wine, perfectly structured, which will age gracefully and asserts itself more fine and profound than the 2015." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2021 - RVF)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domain rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Christophe Ferrandis is a courageous and determined artisan winemaker. In his uncomfortable doll's cellar, he produces wines of character, typical of their area and vinified in a well-understood organic spirit. They need two to three years in bottle. Let's hope he'll soon have a working tool to match his efforts.

Rated (guide 2021) 94/100 Coup de Coeur
Domaine rated (2021 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
Nose of fresh leather and precious woods. Great freshness of fruit, seductive body, slender frame, patinated tannins, here's an ambitious and complex wine, perfectly structured, which will age gracefully and asserts itself as finer and deeper than the 2015.
About the domain :
Originally from Marseilles, Christophe Ferrandis trained at the Château de Pibarnon (Bandol) and settled in the village of Poggio d'Oletta near Saint-Florent in 2002. He makes his wine in a cramped former sheepfold, but plans to build a new winery. His vineyard faces Domaine Leccia in Morta Piana. Yields are low, the vines are grown organically and harvested in small crates. The concentrated, extracted style of the early years is evolving towards greater finesse. Suitable for excellent ageing, the reds are more harmonious, particularly the Clos Signadore cuvée and A Mandria, produced in all three colors. Inizia is a new cuvée for the trade.
