Bodegas Domeco de Jarauta
Domeco de Jarauda is a family estate founded at the end of the 19th century. In 1995, José Vicente de Domeco Jarauta, the current manager, built a modern winery where he began marketing his wines, and created Winery Domeco de Jarauta with his son José Vicente de Domeco Jarauta, with the aim of combining tradition, quality and innovation.

Rioja is one of the few regions in the world where wine is made exclusively from local grape varieties. The grape varieties grown by Domeco de Jarauda are Tempranillo , Garnacha , Graciano and Mazuelo, in extreme climatic conditions: cold, wet winters and dry summers. These are key factors in the production of quality wine.

Domeco de Jarauda cultivates its various vineyards with a constant concern for the environment, using no preventive treatments in the vines. One of the best vineyards was awarded organic certification in 1990. In 2005, the estate began producing its first range of organic wines.
