"Rare!"

"The 2015 was considered a very good vintage, as it was warm, dry and healthy, and the Viña Gravonia Blanco 2015 has a little more alcohol at 13% - just half a degree makes a big difference, and the wine is not as lively as other cooler vintages. For María José López de Heredia, the wine is a little too powerful; the vintage was perfectly ripe and the grapes were very healthy, but the wine lacks the citrus freshness and vivacity that Gravonia should have." (Wine Advocate 2022). Although a little less fresh than previous vintages, the 2015 is still a fine gourmet vintage!

About the wine:

The 2015 was considered a very good vintage, as it was warm, dry and healthy, and the Viña Gravonia Blanco 2015 has a little more alcohol at 13% - just half a degree makes a big difference, and the wine is not as lively as other cooler vintages. For María José López de Heredia, the wine is a little too powerful; the vintage was perfectly ripe and the grapes were very healthy, but the wine lacks the citrus freshness and vivacity that Gravonia should have. 27,000 bottles produced. Bottled in November 2021. The wine was aged for four years in well-aged American oak barrels.
