This late harvest develops an intense nose of citrus fruit, elderflower and lime blossom, enhanced by fresh notes of tropical fruit. Elegant and charming, the palate has a suave attack, marked by frank mineral acidity. The balance between residual sugar and acidity is perfectly achieved. A remarkable sweet wine!

Excellent, very clear white wine with a delicate floral nose. Reminiscent of its elder siblings, the tokays aszus, whose proximity to the grape variety is palpable. Dashing, exuberant and conquering, it handles acidity and a certain mellowness (typical of tokays) that makes it a difficult accompaniment to fruity desserts, tarts and cakes (I made several tests, all disappointing). I find it best served as an aperitif under the arbour with a few well-chosen zakouski. A rather special case of a wine that's perfect on its own.
