A pure blend from the finest Cerequio and Villero vineyards, this Barolo expresses its terroir in the best possible way: by concentrating all the identity of nebbiolo in one bottle. For the uninitiated, it's the perfect way to discover Italy's king of grapes, but its pure, exceptional quality will also delight connoisseurs. An immediate pleasure from a great Italian vintage of great finesse and intense aromas.

Expert opinion
Wine Spectator
Rated 92/100 (Outstanding wine)
About the wine:
Starts with floral and berry aromas and flavors, which quickly give way to tarry, eucalyptus and wild herb notes. Firm and taut, with dense, dusty tannins underpinning the persistent finish.
James Suckling
Rated wine (2017 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
This is still a precise, concentrated Barolo, with notes of dried cherry, flowers and dried mushrooms. Medium- to full-bodied, with polished tannins and an aftertaste of berries, tea and light leather. Delicious today, but much better in three or four years.
