"Boccadigabbia is one of my favorite Marche estates. In 2009, Rosso Piceno is a solid wine for its price. Sweet black fruits, tobacco flowers, licorice and crushed stone melt together in the glass. Made from Sangiovese grapes, this very fine Marche is an elegant wine with typical saltapicchio aromas. A rich Italian red with velvety tannins, highly representative of its clay terroir. A pleasure to drink!
