Casanova di neri - Rosso di Montalcino 2022
91/100 Robert Parker
Casanova di Neri's Rosso di Montalcino is an exceptional red wine that highlights the diversity and richness of the region's soil. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, then refined for 6 months in the bottle, this wine offers an incomparable taste experience, with its aromas of black fruit and its broad, persistent palate. It is the ideal accompaniment to Tuscan antipasti.

"This is one of my all-time favorite Brunellos, and while personal tastes are fluid and may change from time to time, there's something timeless and solid about this wine. It's like a touchstone. Casanova di Neri 2017 Brunello di Montalcino Tenuta Nuova is enhanced by an interlude of elegant rose or crushed flower. Here it appears more prominently, and with more shape and focused intensity. Make no mistake, Giacomo Neri makes wines for pleasure and sensual impact, and this wine (aided by a warm growing season and 15% alcohol) fulfills all those requirements. But it also shows a floral elegance and morello cherry freshness that defy our expectations of the vintage. 2024-2044" (Wine Advocate 2022)
Casanova di neri - Brunello di Montalcino White Label 2017

17,5/20 Jancis Robinson

91/100 James Suckling
"Casanova di Neri's 2017 Brunello di Montalcino offers an unexpected grace and floral profile not commonly found in this scorching, dry vintage. True to Casanova di Neri, the wine is bold and dark in appearance, and although the bouquet is dominated by purple and black fruits, there is a brief interlude of garden-fresh rose or lilac. This little moment changes the momentum of this wine in a very positive way, allowing a harmony between the low and high tones that are well matched here. The wine is robust, structured and velvety on the palate, but ultimately this expression is much more delicate than I would have expected from a 2017 Brunello. It's a lovely surprise. 2024-2038" (Robert Parker 2022)
