"This Vin Jaune is a true Gem !"
"Pale gold in color, this Vin Jaune offers an intense nose of caramel and dried fruit. Lively on the palate, it gains strength as the tasting progresses, with hints of dried fruit and dried mushrooms. The finish is long and pleasant. A consistent, classic wine for classic side dishes, such as Bresse chicken with yellow wine". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated wine (guide 2025 ) 93/100
Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
He represents the tenth generation of Badoz at Poligny. Trained at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, he returned to the domaine in 2003 and inaugurated the winery in 2004. It took some time to go organic, but certification was obtained in 2019. The domaine's vineyards are located in the Roussots and Grands Roussots districts. Half of the estate is planted with Savagnin, which doesn't mean you have to neglect the reds. On some cuvées, he takes barrel ageing a step further.
