savagnin

long-keeping wine

"Very fine and nuanced, with remarkable freshness". (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2022 - RVF). A typical yellow wine with a deep golden color. The powerful, subtle nose of hazelnut, walnut and ginger is echoed on the palate. Flavors of saffron, toasted almonds and gunflint are framed by an ample structure.

Domaine noté (guide 2024) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list, and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the wine:

Very fine and nuanced, remarkable freshness.

About the domain :

This historic estate based in Passenans was given a second birth when Emmanuel Grand and his partner Nathalie, daughter of Arbois winemakers, took it over in 2015, considerably reducing the vineyard area and deciding to convert to organic farming. The results are not long in coming, and the range, which embraces all Jura specialties, grows every year. "I like to master in order to know," asserts the rigorous Emmanuel Grand: his credo is perfectly illustrated in the very clean wines, full of brilliance, greed and character. The future belongs to them.
