Labet Estate
Domaine Labet is a 12-hectare family estate created in 1974 by Alain and Josie Labet, divided into 44 vineyard plots in the Côtes du Jura appellation. Before that, the Labet family already cultivated vines, but like all farms in the Jura region, they did so in a very diversified way, also practicing agriculture and livestock farming. The farms tended to be self-sufficient, and any surplus was sold to buy what they could not produce.

Since 2003, Domaine Labet has been joined by Julien's "garden," which is completely separate from the main estate. Julien's 3-hectare vineyard has been farmed organically since 2007 (Ecocert organic conversion since 2009). Domaine Labet cultivates all Jura wines, its specialty being its single-vineyard wines: 17 crus, 6 reds, 11 whites, including one made purely from Savagnin.
