RVF
"A fine expression of Côtes du Jura".
"A comparison of the two Tradition cuvees (same Savagnin/Chardonnay blend, same ageing protocol) is highly instructive. Both wines show a very personal style: the Arbois is more powerful, broader, more golden, richer and more marked by the taste of sail, but less refined; the Côtes du Jura is more timid at first, but finer and more elegant". Domaine Rolet
Côtes du Jura
Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
This is one of the largest estates in the Jura, with 65 hectares of vines spread over the Arbois, Côtes du Jura and L'Étoile appellations. The range, which includes numerous cuvées of all types of wine (ouillés, sous voile, crémants, macvin, paille and jaune), with a majority of whites, was reputed to be complete but uneven, with some fine Gems in the older vintages. The wines have now regained a certain unity of quality.

About the domain :
The Arbois appellation owes much to Domaine Rolet. Although over the years it has managed to preserve its own style, a combination of classic Jura craftsmanship and technical mastery, the domaine has not always achieved homogeneity in the breadth of its range. Wines typified by maturation under sail (in particular the yellow wines of Arbois) are the most consistently successful. In spring 2018, the estate and its vineyards were acquired by the Devillard family, well known for their Burgundy production, along with other shareholders. Under the aegis of Cédric Ducoté the latest vintages show increased stylistic assurance and more consistency, we are delighted.
