Corbières - Boutenac
L'AOC Corbières - Boutenac is the first communal appellation in the Corbières. Built around the "Pinada" pine forest of Boutenac, it comprises 220 hectares spread over a dozen communes around the hill. Since its official recognition in 2005, theAOC Corbières - Boutenac is made up of some thirty players, including winegrowers, cooperatives and merchants. Thanks to soils composed of continental and marine Miocene molasse deposits, sandstone, Carcassonne molasse and hettangian dolomitic limestone, combined with a typically Mediterranean climate, Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre vines express their full potential. The wines are aromatic and mineral in character, with a strong aptitude for ageing, retaining freshness and good acidity. L'AOC Corbières - BoutenacThis appellation produces mainly red wines made from a blend of at least two grape varieties, the majority of which must be Carignan, the grape variety emblematic of the appellation.

"This cuvée stands out for its complexity, which has made it one of the estate's must-haves".

Suave and assertive, this is the big brother of the Cuvée Classique. It is distinguished by its barrel ageing, which gives it an aromatic palette of rare intensity. Opulent and rich on the palate, it has a savory finish.

"An example of harmony and a magnificent evocation of the vintage.

"A charm of its own that earned this cuvée top marks. The dark color is imposing, as is the nose, which unreservedly exhales greedy scents of mocha and minty black fruits. Sensual, silky, fresh and sustained by chiselled tannins, the palate is a real winner, with tasty fruit to munch on. An example of harmony and a magnificent evocation of the vintage".
