Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Rated (2015 guide) 15/20 (Vintage 2013) (Very good wine)
Domaine rated 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
Jean-Philippe Granier provides technical advice to all Languedoc winegrowers. The family-run domaine, located in the Sommières area, offers perfectly clean, impeccably vinified wines, from igp to languedoc: it's in the quality of the entry-level wines that you recognize a good domaine. In reds, clémence is intense in flavor, jéricho sounds strong and displays perfectly controlled tannin, and camp-de-l'oste is a model for the sector. There's an obvious quest here for the taste and flavors that any wine from the region should express. A very safe address, all the more so as, in addition to the reds, the whites are just as consistent and the Parenthèse rosé is regularly exceptional.

Very representative of good Languedoc white wines. If it weren't for the alcohol, it would drink like milk.

Beautiful aromas. A blend of grape varieties, each with its own contribution. Fresh and sunny, superbly balanced. I really like it!
