"A very fine Faugères with great originality for the most discerning connoisseurs, ideal for gourmet dining and perfectly suited for aging."
A straw-yellow color precedes a delicate nose, with Mediterranean aromas that are both floral and spicy. A sober and perfectly defined white wine, with a taut and dynamic texture, ending in a long, flavorful finish.

About wine:
Les Vignes du Puits, a full-bodied wine with notes of mullein flower, broad but balanced on the palate. Open within 2 years.
About the estate:
Sophie and Thibaud Bardi de Fourtou took over this historic estate in Faugères in 2017. The wines we tasted for this edition are the last examples of the transition between Jean-Michel Alquier and the new owners. The couple's goal? To perpetuate the style of the estate, whose vineyard is dominated by old Syrah vines from massal selections (among the first planted in Languedoc in the 1960s by Jean-Michel Alquier's father, Gilbert), complemented by Mourvèdre and Grenache. We remain attentive to this new turning point.

About wine:
Vibrant and precise, this wine expresses notes of fresh lemon, apricot, tulip, and toasted herbs. It is medium-bodied with a fruity core of apples and lemons. Lively and quite sharp. Supple and well-defined finish. Ready to drink now.
