Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2025) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Oriented towards melon cultivation and a contributor to the cooperative winery, the estate took a major turn in 2004 with the creation of a winemaking cellar. In 2009, Anaïs Ricôme joined her father Yves at the head of a 35-hectare vineyard (organic), created a new range and developed sales.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine rated (guide 2025) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
Anaïs Ricôme is the benchmark for Picpoul de Pinet, producing wines of great purity from this beautiful clay-limestone terroir. The appellation produces some of Languedoc's finest whites, marked by the sea breezes, straightforward and iodized, from the piquepoul grape variety. After studying viticulture and oenology and gaining experience in a New Zealand vineyard, her father, Yves, suggested she take over this estate near Marseillan. Having just settled in, she made some drastic decisions: to reduce the size of the vineyard in order to better control the level of quality, to convert the estate to organic farming and to use certain dynamic organic practices. Aging is very light, with priority given to stainless steel, sandstone and old foudres. The result is brilliant, powerful and energetic wines of great precision. Quality is once again the order of the day.
