Complex and mellow, this Grand Vin reveals itself in a suave register, with aromas of hazelnut, roasted almonds and smoky notes. This finesse is repeated on the palate, supported by a round structure and lovely freshness. Lots of charm!

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated (guide 2017) 15.5/20 (Vintage 2014) (Good wine)

Domain rated (guide 2024) Selected (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the domains that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

After advanced studies in biogenetics, ampelography and oenology, Cyril Bourgne began his career in Bordeaux (Château de Fieuzal) before embarking, with his wife Nadia, on a more personal viticultural adventure in the Languedoc. The vineyard is meticulously tended, and the vinifications now carried out in the new cellar, immersed in the Saint-Chinian landscape, enable the extraction of long, fine grapes. The precision of barrel ageing, introduced for the Grand Vin cuvée with its predominantly Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes, aims to renew the contemporary expression of Saint-Chinian.
