Drink
"Gourmet and expressive!"
With this Chardonnay, Catherine Delaunay demonstrates all her Burgundian savoir-faire. The wine is complex and elegant, perfectly balanced between freshness and fruit (apricot, pear). Its finely wooded aromas reveal themselves subtly, with notes of marron glacé and praline. Very expressive on the palate, with a slightly buttery, lemony finish , this cuvée is a sure bet!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
After a spell in California, Burgundy-born oenologists Catherine and Laurent Delaunay moved to the region in 1991 to set up an ambitious trading business, focusing on varietal wines. The range is overseen by Catherine Delaunay, a true conductor who drastically selects the best grapes, juices and terroirs, and creates the best blends and ageings. Several parcel-based cuvées have been created to perfectly match terroir and grape variety: the result is remarkable, all the more so as the price-pleasure ratio is utterly convincing.
