Domaine Ortola
Near Narbonne, the Ortola estate is located near the Bages pond with a Mediterranean influence and on the Quartouze plateau, on clay-limestone soil with rounded pebbles. Protected by the Clape massif, this estate of over 110 hectares is farmed organically, ECOCERT certified since 2008 and biodynamically certified by DEMETER.
Acquired in 1983 by Georges Ortola who rebuilt part of the estate, it is now up to the second and third generations to take over with Suzane, Hélène, Nelson, and Georges.
The wines of Ortola estate are born in harmony with nature, following natural cycles, at the heart of a diverse ecosystem.
