Domaine de Barroubio
Domaine de Barroubio takes its name from the Barroubio plateau on which it is located, a hillside surrounded by combes (small canyons) with a south-facing exposure at an altitude of between 200 and 300 meters. Located in the Hérault department in the commune of Saint Jean de Minervois, to the west of Saint Chinian, Domaine de Barroubio produces the rarest of natural sweet wines, Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois, an appellation that covers less than 200 hectares, and is shared by just six estates and a cooperative winery.

Since 2000, Raymond Miquel has been at the helm of the 60-hectare family estate. He cultivates 27 hectares of vines, 17 hectares of which are devoted to muscat petit grain, the star of the Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois appellation and dedicated to making the famous vin doux naturel and a dry white wine, as well as grenache, syrah and carignan for the rosé and red wines completing the AOC Minervois range.

3*Coup de Coeur Hachette

"Cuvée Bleue is a true Barroubio in its complexity and delicate aromas: an extraordinary garden with heady aromas of rose, hawthorn and lime blossom. Perfect balance, sweetness and elegance, soft and loose shapes, intensity and refinement, evocations of apricot sorbet invigorated by a sprig of mint: a rare harmony".
