Les Grandes Costes Estate
Located in the small Languedoc village of Vacquières north of Montpellier, the estate The Great Costes covers 14 hectares. At the helm is Jean-Christophe Granier, a former wine journalist, who took over the family estate dating back to 1868 at the turn of the millennium. He renamed the estate The Great Costes, located at the foot of the Cévennes foothills, and now present in several appellations: AOP Pic Saint Loup, Languedoc, IGP Saint Guilhem le Désert.

In a setting of scrubland, between mountains and sea, Jean-Christophe Granier is committed to producing "Signature" wines, made with respect for the environment and faithful to the terroir: Mediterranean and continental influences, limestone and clay-limestone soils, sustainable farming practices (now HVE level 3 certified), traditional grape varieties (Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Carignan), controlled yields.

The wines of the Les Grandes Costes estate come in two ranges: the "pleasure" vintages of Mas Canaille, echoing childhood memories; and the Les Grandes Costes estate vintages, steeped in tradition, expressing all the typical characteristics and pure expression of Languedoc grape varieties. These wines are authentic and faithful to the Languedoc terroir, much to our delight. A Favorite discovery Favorite
