This parcel-based cuvée reveals a cru with an original character of the exceptional clay-limestone terroir. The nose is marked by aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, morello cherry, black pepper. Luscious and intense on the palate, with silky tannins and complex notes of black fruit fruit and spice. After a career in the wine press, Jean-Christophe Granier has returned to his home village of Vacquières, part of the Coteaux du Languedoc's Pic Saint-Loup area. It's a highly frequented winery that's proving its regularity.

About the domain :
In 2000, Jean-Christophe Granier took over the old family estate, renamed it Les Grandes Costes after the hills adjacent to the house, and gave new impetus to this 19-hectare vineyard located in Corconne and Vacquières, on the edge of Pic Saint-Loup.
