Domaine de Juchepie
During a visit to France in 1985, Eddy and Mileine Oosterlinck-Bracke discovered a longère nestling at the top of a hillside planted with old vines. Juchepie was a real coup de coeur, and the Belgian couple didn't yet have the idea of making it their profession. The house had no suitable infrastructure for vineyard operations, but their passion for wine quickly led them to a reconversion.

For 15 years, the couple restructured and developed Domaine de Juchepie . In October 2001, at the age of 50, Eddy Oosterlinck-Bracke gave up his hardware business in Belgium to become a winemaker in France.

Today, Domaine de Juchepie boasts 8 hectares, half of which are old vines, all cultivated biodynamically.

"Its exuberance is delivered in flavors of pear in syrup and candied apricot." (RVF spécial Millésime 2015 - June 2016) The sugars, perfectly integrated, bring greediness to this very well-balanced cuvée.

16/20 Bettane & Desseauve

"Chiselled, with a silky texture, this Chenin has a subtle cutting edge. It's a groundbreaker, very mineral, with fine bitters." (Le Guide Bettane & Desseauve des Vins de France 2018) From plots with a layer of fine clay, Chenin - very close to the rock - reveals that rare extra minerality.
