Domaine Matignon
In the heart of the Loire Valley, in Martigné-Briand, the Matignon estate has been cultivating 38 hectares of vines in the family for 3 generations, and is now run by brother Yves. Matignon and sister, Hélène Matignon.

Most of the domaine's production takes place in theAnjou appellation area. However, the domaine offers a varied range of wines, in keeping with the diversity of wines found in this amazing region. Thanks to the diversity of terroirs and winemaking methods, you'll find red, white, rosé, sparkling and sweet wines.

The grape varieties grown at Domaine Matignon are mainly Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc and Grolleau. Particular care is taken with the vines, which are cultivated using sustainable methods. The soils are mainly schist, but also include calcareous clay and marl.

2*Étoiles Hachette

"A cuvée that lives up to its name, gourmet to die for. A deep ruby color, a charming nose of ripe black fruit and morello cherry, a mouthful of delicious, roguish, supple and round, make this red the archetypal 'vin de copains'" (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018).
