About the wine:
A cuvée that lives up to its name, gourmet to die for. A deep ruby color, a charming nose of ripe black fruit and morello cherry, and a mouth that's luscious, full-bodied and supple, make this red the archetypal "vin de copains".
About the domain :
This estate is located 500 m from the Château de Martigné-Briand, in the heart of the Coteaux-du-Layon area, but the commune is also the small capital of Anjou rosé wines. Since 1988, Yves Matignon and his sister Hélène have cultivated 38 ha of vines.

Tannic, hence the suggestion on the back label to drink between 12/13°... The fruit is behind it!
