Domaine Stéphane Guion
Domaine Stéphane Guion is owned by the Guion family, one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Loire Valley. They implemented this practice throughout their vineyards as early as 1965. Today, Stéphane Guion leads the destiny of the vineyard, having studied viticulture and acquired solid experience in the Bordeaux region. Of course, he remains faithful to this orientation and has been awarded the ECOCERT label.

Domaine Stéphane Guion extends its vineyards, covering almost 7 hectares, in the commune of Benais, west of Bourgueil, in the Loire Valley. Domaine Stéphane Guion produces red and rosé wines in the Bourgueil appellation. Domaine Stéphane Guion's red Bourgueil wines are characteristic of the appellation and need to be kept for several years, especially in their most accomplished cuvées, to be fully appreciated.

"A serious wine, Prestige 2014 lacks neither sap nor length. Its generosity and depth make it a wine of excellent level, surpassing in finesse and richness of constitution the previous vintages of this vintage. A highly recommended purchase " (Le Guide des bonnes affaires du vin 2016 - Gerbelle & Maurange)

Note : RVF 15,5/20, Sélection du Guide Hachette 2009
This Bourgueil Prestige cuvée is made from a selection of old Cabernet Franc vines aged between 35 and 80 years, depending on the plot, and planted on the estate's best clay-limestone terroirs with south and south-west exposure. "A very light woodiness does not detract from the discreet fruitiness of this cuvée, both on the nose and on the palate. The tannins are not shy, but are enveloping and persistent, requiring only a little ageing." (Guide Hachette des vins 2009)
