"A great sweet wine from the Davy family, a true benchmark!
"This excellent wine immediately delights with its aromas of quince, mirabelle plum and candied fruit. Aromas that infuse a mouth that's suave without heaviness, silky, elegant, full-bodied and long, with unfailing harmony, perfectly balanced by freshness. A model for the appellation, and for a long time to come. (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

About the wine:
This excellent wine immediately delights with its aromas of quince, mirabelle plum and candied fruit. These aromas infuse a palate that's suave without being heavy, silky, elegant, full-bodied and long, with a perfect harmony of freshness. A model for the appellation, and for a long time to come.
About the domain :
This 28-hectare estate, run by the Davy family for five generations, is located on the Corniche angevine between the Loire and Layon valleys. The old wine storehouse is listed (17th c.) and the cellar is housed in a disused coal mine, where the ageing wines mature. A sure bet in Anjou viticulture, often in the spotlight for its sweet wines, coteaux-du-layon and quarts-de-chaume in particular.
