On the palate, the wine is rich, fat, full-bodied and complex, but never heavy, with a lovely mentholated freshness and remarkable persistence. A great pleasure wine to share, now and in the decade to come.
About the domain :
René Socheleau and his son Philippe took over and restructured this 44-hectare estate in 2001, building a new winery on the Anjou corniche overlooking the Loire and Layon valleys. Their wines are regularly featured in the Guide.
