About the wine:

With notes of citrus, white flowers and menthol, and a lively mouthfeel, this Sauvignon is easy to drink and perfect as an aperitif.

About the domain :

Managed by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien and Vincent Denis, who arrived in 2003, 2006 and 2009 respectively, this is a family business since 1920; 5 ha at its origins, 90 ha today. A flagship estate in the Haut-Layon region, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very much at ease with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.

very pleasant, but a dominant pear/banana aroma probably due to the type of fermentation, which makes the chardonnay and sauvignon taste the same.
