"A faithful ambassador for Sauvignon, this refreshing cuvée will delight your taste buds!"

"A small range that is always well put together, like the white, a crisp and lively Sauvignon." (RVF Guide 2026) Don't miss this lively and precise wine, which candidly reflects the identity of the Kimmeridgian marl soils of Menetou-Salon!

Rated estate (2026 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

We have been closely following Antoine Van Remoortere's work since he started out in 2011. His progress at Menetou-Salon has been thoughtful and gradual: production has increased from 5,000 to 50,000 bottles, seven hectares have been converted to organic farming, and aging has been extended to eight months. From the very first vintages, the wines have been a true reflection of the Kimmeridgian marl soils of Menetou-Salon. The range is very clear: a lively, precise Sauvignon and a juicy, flavorful Pinot Noir (some whole bunches are used in the vinification, and a third of the wine is aged in 400-liter barrels). We will soon be able to discover a new cuvée, Le Clos Fouchet, a Sauvignon planted on a terroir with thin clay soils, aged in amphorae, barrels, and concrete vats.
