Domaine du Tremblay

Domaine du Tremblay is one of the properties owned by Chantal Wilk and Jean Tatin, both agricultural engineers. They created their estates twenty years ago during a period of restructuring and renewal of the Quincy AOC. Maroussia, their youngest daughter, aged 25, joined them in 2010.

Domaine du Tremblay, an old estate in Berry, which can be traced back to the Middle Ages as the fiefdom of a squire of Duke Jean de Berry, has revived its winegrowing tradition by cultivating nearly 9 hectares of vines located in both Brinay and Quincy. Old vines account for a significant proportion of the estate, representing nearly half of the total area. The vineyard is managed using sustainable viticulture practices based on regular observation of the vines during the growing season. This ensures that plant protection measures are tailored to the risks and diseases likely to occur in the climate conditions of the year.

The wines of Domaine du Tremblay, located in the Quincy appellation, are vinified in Brinay in the château's former farmhouse, the Cave Romane, which combines tradition and modernity. Well equipped with high-performance equipment, a pneumatic press, temperature-controlled vats, and air-conditioned storage, it has been producing quality wines since 1994.
