Sylvain Bruneau Vigneron
The estate Bruneau-Dupuy is a family story that has been unfolding in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil for several generations and is now being written by Sylvain BruneauThe vineyard, protected to the north by the forest, covers 22 hectares of vines that have been certified organic since 2016.
Thanks to their exposure on south-facing slopes covered with old vines on clay-limestone soils, the wines are full-bodied and long on the palate with very pronounced red fruit aromas.
The other part of the Bruneau vineyard is planted on sandy soils, bringing more lightness and fresh fruit. The king of grape varieties is Cabernet Franc, typical of the region. Sylvain Bruneau mainly produces red wines with his four cuvées: Tradition, Vieilles Vignes, Réserve, and L'Éclosion.
