Domaine de la Cotelleraie

Domaine de la Cotelleraie is a family estate dating back to the 19th century, located in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil. Owned by the Vallée family, it is Gérald Vallée who decides and presides over the destiny of the vineyards and the cellar, with the help of his two children. Domaine de la Cotelleraie has 26 hectares of vineyards, divided between the gravelly terraces, the siliceous limestone of the low hillsides, and the gravelly slopes of the Loire Valley.

Domaine de la Cotelleraie has been farmed organically since 1999 and is in the process of being certified. This is the kingdom of Cabernet Franc, which flourishes on soils that are worked throughout the year to optimize the natural ripeness of the grapes and achieve the quality that makes this estate one of the very best in the Loire Valley.
