Gault & Millau

"Aromatic, mineral nose with notes of chalk, lemon and honey. On the palate, the wine is tonic and punchy. The minerality is very present and imposes a certain severity. Lovers of dry Chenin will appreciate... Others will have to be patient". (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2015 - Gault Millau)

It's floral and harmonious, with a slightly smoky finish. A little disappointed, however, by this Savennières in which I don't find the straightforwardness of the Chenin. I'm probably also influenced by my Montlouis habit.
