Domaine Les Béates
Domaine Les Béates, run by Pierre-François Terrat, stretches across the sunny hinterland of Aix-en-Provence. The vines draw their full terroir flavors from these soils gorged with strong, generous sunshine.

The 40 hectares of Domaine les Béates vineyards are planted on the best land in Lambesc, some 20 km north-west of Aix, between the Alpilles, the Lubéron and the Sainte-Victoire, benefiting from this natural barrier against the humidity and cold generated by the Durance, further north. The highly diversified terroir of Domaine Les Béates is a blend of soft limestone, sandstone, clay-limestone over marl and stony soils. The grape varieties, from vines sometimes 50 years old, include Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan, as well as Rolle, Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon and Grenache Blanc.

The historic part of the estate has been farmed using certified organic methods since the early 1980s. As a result, Domaine Les Béates offers cuvées with character and personality, rich in authenticity, produced organically.
