"The vigor and minerality of this white wine gives way to a hint of honey!"

An expressive white wine with lots of aromas such as plum, passion fruit, quince... The minerality awakens the palate before giving way to lovely, indulgent notes of honey. A perfect wine to pair with grilled sea bream.

About the estate:

The Lapierre family has been cultivating vines in the commune of Coudoux since the late 18th century. In 1935, Jean Lapierre, then an officer in the Navy, decided to devote himself entirely to the land, which was mainly planted with olive trees. In 1952, Max Lapierre took over from his father and began transforming the estate into a wine-growing property. In 1973, his son Yves created Château Saint-Hilaire and became a winegrowing owner. The estate stretches across the stony slopes of the Coudoux hills, located halfway between Mont Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles mountains. The vines thrive on 55 hectares of south-facing land, currently in conversion to organic farming.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 11/13/2025

After a clean attack, the mid-palate reveals itself to be more structured and refreshed by citrus notes, followed by rounder notes of white-fleshed fruits that provide an enticing satiny sensation. The lingering saline finish gives it an airy quality. Its moderate price and distinguished bottle design are two additional assets. A lovely Provençal white, ideal as an aperitif or with zucchini flower fritters stuffed with ricotta. Rating = 3.8.
