Good value for money. A priori rather alcoholic (14.5) but on tasting I found it rather light. It has fruit and substance. Lacks perhaps a little length in the mouth.

Vibrant garnet-red color. The rich, harmonious nose reveals notes of blackberries, spices and violets, while retaining freshness and greediness. The fruity attack continues with a spicy mid-palate, ending on notes of peppery finesse and freshness. A straightforward wine. Full-bodied on the palate, with firm but crisp tannins. Very fine substance A bottle well in the spirit of its appellation, which will benefit from another year's patience as the alcohol is still perseptible.

the southern Rhône has its Gems...here's one, a Beaumes de Venise from a sunny year that guarantees beneficial ageing to soften the tannins...

A good côte du rhône at a reasonable price, with lovely aromas and good length on the palate. it can be drunk now but can also wait; 2015 must have something to do with it.
