Aromas of stewed fruit and prunes, with a slight woodiness. Full-bodied, though a little too alcoholic for my taste. A real "peachy" Côtes du Rhone that goes wonderfully well with a typical Mediterranean plan (tomatoey, garlicky, spicy...). Downside: My last 2 bottles opened at the end of 2012 were "maderized"... to keep for 6 years, no more.
