Robert Parker
"This impressive 2011 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (70% Grenache and 30% Mourvèdre, aged in concrete vats, foudre and barrel) is full-bodied, rich, with hints of viandé, grilled herbs, licorice, black fruits and spices on the nose. The mid-palate is fantastically deep, with lots of fine tannins. It should drink well for 10-12 years (that's saying a lot for a 2011!)" (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

A strong impression of unpleasant methylated spirits, and licorice notes that are a little too pronounced, almost artificial.
