Grandes Serres
Since 1977, Maison Grandes Serres has been based in the heart of Châteauneuf du Pape. More recently, the wine merchant has set up its wine cellars in Gigondas for the production of its Rhône Valley wines. In 2001, investor Michel Picard took over Maison Grandes Serres, moving it to Ontario.
Through partnerships with Rhône winegrowers,Grandes Serres covers multiple appellations in the southern Rhône Valley, notably Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages for its "Les Portes du Castelas" and "Le Jas de Belle" vintages, Gigondas for "La Combe des Marchands," Vacqueyras for "Les Hautes Vacquières," Beaume de Venise for "Rocca Luna," Châteauneuf du Pape for "La Cour des Papes," and Tavel for "La Rose d'Aimée."
Grandes Serres also owns vineyards in Châteauneuf du Pape (which are used in the blend for "La Cour des Papes") and an estate in Lirac, "Domaine des Cigalounes."
