Large greenhouses
Since 1977, Maison Large greenhouses is based in the heart of Châteauneuf du Pape. More recently, the trading house has set up its wine-making cellars in Gigondas to produce its Rhône Valley Crus. In 2001, investor Michel Picard took over the Maison Large greenhousesto Ontario.

Through partnerships with Rhône winemakers, Grandes Serres covers numerous appellations in the southern Rhône Valley, notably Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages for its "Les Portes du Castelas" and "Le Jas de Belle" cuvées, Gigondas for "La Combe des Marchands", Vacqueyras for "Les Hautes Vacquières", Beaume de Venise for "Rocca Luna", Châteauneuf du Pape for "La Cour des Papes", and Tavel for "La Rose d'Aimée".

Grandes Serres also owns vineyards in Châteauneuf du Pape (used in the blend for "La Cour des Papes"), and an estate in Lirac, "Domaine des Cigalounes".

Carius 2016 presents a beautiful deep purple color, with a nose of ripe red fruit enhanced by elegant touches of white pepper and licorice. Elegant and intense on the palate, well-balanced between greedy fruit, a hint of sweetness and dense, silky tannins. Great value for money!
